Man made objects in Solar orbit

Non-exhaustive list of artificial objects that are currently orbiting the Sun (or heliocentric orbit) at various distances and inclinations. While most of them were sent there intentionally (e.g. space telescopes), others are stranded because of technical failures (e.g. Mars 7 and Phobos 1). A large number of spent stages and mission-related debris are also orbiting the Sun.

Over 500 artificial objects have been identified.
